Our microbiome is the key to many diseases

Controlling our microbiome
Bacteria have a particularity: their DNA is compacted, or, in technical terms, supercoiled. This DNA supercoiling defines whether they're active or inactive. Our goal is to gain control of their activity by defining their DNA supercoiling ourselves, and use that to treat human diseases. |
